Vice Verses

"I know that there's a meaning to it all, a little resurrection every time I fall." Another beautiful tune from Jon Foreman and the guys in Switchfoot, "Vice Verses" may be my favorite song of theirs yet, and it isn't even a studio version! It's not a rockin' tune like "Dare You to Move" or "Meant to Live", but I get chills every time he sings those lyrics. Turn down the lights, open your ears, and take in the beauty.

Suffering

I am admittedly not much of an activist or idealist, but the recent reports of bombings and tank attacks in Darfur is very disturbing to me. First of all, thanks Jon Foreman (Switchfoot, Fiction Family) for using your platform to raise awareness of the problems and for calling out the President of this nation, now it's my turn and I won't hold back. Obama, you ran on a platform of lies and while I saw through you from the beggining, you shame the United States. Next time you think about spending a trillion dollars, how about you send it to dying children instead of auto executives and other such crooks. Much like Jon, I don't know much about the politics of the situation, but something is wrong when millions are dying for nothing. . .

Conservatives Must Take a Stand!

WAKE-UP REPUBLICANS!!! Mitt is NOT a conservative!!! If you plan on voting for him you may as well switch your party affiliation to Democrat. Mitt is Pro Gay Marriage and Pro Killing Unborn Children!! Gay marriage became legal in Massachusetts while Mitt was governor of that very state! If you call yourself a conservative, or simply a human being with a heart, you will not vote for Mitt Romney!

This is a different sound from the stuff from their previous album ("How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb") but I really like the direction they are going. Leave it to U2 to completely reinvent their sound.

"Bloons Tower Defense 3" Lets just say I'm addicted

This is the most fun online games I have played since Snood, and that was a long time ago. It combines simple "at your own speed" game play with strategy to make for one heck of a game. Give it a try and let me know what you think (Good luck beating the green circular map on hard).
